Could you consider inserting the _acme-challenge.repo.gridcf.org record sooner?
Meaning that on my side I can make sure that the proper ssl certificate is used,
using both the repo.gridcf.org and repo-gridcf.redir.ops.egi.eu as SANs.

As such, you'd will be able to switch to our server whenever you feel it is due.
