[Gt-eos] Can we drop gridftp-hdfs from the source tree?

Hi folks,

The GCT source tree contains a GridFTP plugin for the Hadoop File System 
called gridftp-hdfs. The version in the source tree is very outdated and 
the plugin is now maintained by OSG at 
https://github.com/opensciencegrid/gridftp-hdfs. Can we remove the 
outdated sources from the GCT source tree? Keeping them in sync would be 
very painful.
