[Gt-eos] Can we drop gridftp-hdfs from the source tree?

Seconding Mischa here. Let's add the README and exclude it from default 
builds. If there's demand down the line for gridftp-hdfs from GCT, we 
can address it then but let's not add more work to getting our first 
builds off the ground.
